WHOOP Life is the premium tier at 359 dollars per year and includes the WHOOP MG device with all Peak features plus medical grade ECG readings and blood pressure insights. This is for people who want comprehensive heart health monitoring or have existing cardiovascular concerns.
Each membership tier represents a different value proposition. If you care mainly about sleep and recovery and want the lowest entry point, One works. If you want the full modern WHOOP experience including longevity insights, Peak is the sweet spot. If cardiovascular monitoring is a priority, Life gives you that hardware.
WHOOP MG stands for Medical Grade and represents a more advanced offering launched alongside 5.0. The two devices share much of the same platform but MG has some key additions.
WHOOP MG includes an FDA cleared ECG sensor built into the clasp. You can take medical grade heart readings right from your wrist in minutes by placing your fingers against the sensor. The device also runs background heart screening looking for signs of Atrial Fibrillation and irregular rhythms and will notify you if something concerning is detected.
